How simple does this sound? Take delight in the Lord. How can we take delight in the Lord? Taking moments of our day to thank Him is a way to delight in Him. Looking around at our days and reveling in where we are at in life is a way to delight in Him. There are so many ways to delight in Him. Oftentimes it is the smallest of actions that are the ways we are delighting in Him. In doing these small and simple things He will give us the desires of our hearts. He wants nothing more than to give us what we want. Just like a parent to a child. We want to give our children everything and it is much easier for us to do so when they delight in us. This means showing us respect. Listening to us. Taking time to consider us. These are the ways we can delight in our Father in Heaven. Then He will grant what is in our hearts.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

A Prayer for Our Community:
Lord, we come to You humbled by Your love for us. We want to live our lives in respect to You and what You want for us. We pray that You would help us to delight in You more and more each day. We know You know our hearts better than even we do. We pray that You would help us to trust You greater today than ever before and that our trust in You would continue to grow, so that the desires of our hearts are the desires of Your heart. Amen.
