Are we servants of Christ?

Are we servants of Christ?

Oftentimes we must ask ourselves these very questions. God has a way of getting us to think differently. He wants to keep us on our toes, rather than stay on autopilot directed by the ways of the world.

It takes our awareness of the questions He asks us to come out of the haze of the world’s ways. We are only able to be aware when we learn how to just be. Continuing to do all the time will keep us distracted from the questions He has for us.

Are we servants of Christ? This must be a question we ask ourselves daily. It will let us know if we are on the right path.

If we are trying to please people and win the approval of human beings we cannot possibly be a servant of Christ. Instead we have to be present in this awareness so that we stay firmly on the path He has set for our lives.

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Galatians 1:10 NIV

Considerations for your planner:

  • Write down the questions God is asking us. Write them down each day until asking them becomes your new habit.

A Prayer for Our Community:

Father in Heaven, Thank You for directing our paths. We want to stay on the straightest path we can muster. We know that to do this we must constantly ask ourselves if we are Your servants. Help us to stay in awareness of our actions so that we do Your work in everything we do. In Your name we pray. Amen.
