We are called to be servants. Jesus is our greatest example of that. He humbled Himself to become man and walk a life in service to others.
This is how we must model our lives. Once we recognize selfish ambition, we cannot dismiss it. Staying aware of this habit the world has created will help us to stay in humble action.
It is only through humility that we are able to accomplish the work of Christ. Our vain conceit will get in the way every time. This is why it is paramount to be present in the awareness of all we do and say.
The art of being and not just doing will open up a whole new world. A world that is beyond what we have ever known. Through humility we will be able to harness the power God has for us to do His work.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves

Lord, Thank You for the opportunity to do Your work. We pray that You would continue to use us in every capacity. Help us to turn away from selfish ambition and vain conceit so that we may lean into humility more. Amen.
