Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Psalm 143:10 NIV
Do we live to continue to learn? This is the question we must ask ourselves as often as possible. If we are not open to continue to learn, how can we expect God to teach us?
In order to be taught we must be ready to learn. Being open to learning is a humbling experience. There is no room for pride if we want to learn from God.
We have to let the Holy Spirit lead us. It is when we are led by Him that we are able to trust in what God has to teach us.
God uses all the things in the world to be His instruments for teaching. He uses people, things and circumstances to transform our thinking. When we come to Him in prayer we are able to be taught and then transformed for the path He has set for us.
Considerations for your planner:
- Do you seek to learn from every encounter and circumstance? Write down the last thing you learned.
A Prayer for Our Community:
Father, Help us to always be open to being taught what You have for us. Help us to relinquish our pride of what we think we know that we are more open to learning what You have for us. We want to hear Your guidance in every space of our lives. Help us to remember this as we move through our days. Amen.
