It is through and by love that obedience happens. When we love we obey. We have a desire to follow His ways. We do not need to see Him to love Him. We know Him because of His love for us. His love is what brings out obedience in us. When we allow Him to dwell in our lives we cannot help but want to follow all He has said. We seek out His words to inform our lives. This can be a tall order when we have not experienced love in this world. However, when we seek to obey Him we will feel His love instantaneously. We were made to love and so we were made to obey.
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

A Prayer for Our Community:
Father, thank You for all that You do for us. We pray that You would fortify our strength to seek You. We want to feel Your love throughout our day. We know in seeking you we can obey You more easily. In obeying Your words we are able to feel Your presence more. We want more of You! Amen.
