Trust = More Prayer

Trust = More Prayer

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 11:24 NIV

How are we trusting in God? Are we believing the words He tells us? Are we meditating on His promises to remind us to trust when life gets tough?

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to pray without ceasing. In this scripture it says that whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that we have received it. So what are we praying for and are we praying without ceasing?

This is where our trust comes from. When we do not cease in prayer we are the closest we can be to God. We are able to be fortified in our belief that He will deliver us.

Prayer is for us. It is meant to transform our minds. When we allow our minds to be renewed and transformed by Him through prayer we can believe with confidence that all we have asked for is ours.

Considerations for your planner:

  • Write down the prayer you have been praying recently. Then write down how often to pray that prayer. Are you believing that it is already yours?

A Prayer for Our Community:

Father, help us to draw closer to You in our prayer life. We want to commune with You all day every day. Let the first words we think in our days be to You. Let our last words we speak be of You. It is in our communication with You that we are able to be made strong in our belief that You are, have been and will continue to answer us. Amen.
