Trust Over Fear

Trust Over Fear

God always knows what He is doing. We do not always know what we are doing. The question will always be if we are willing to relinquish the power we think we have to the one we know truly knows? Oftentimes, we are driven by fear. A fear the world puts in us through culture, other people and just a general way of doing things. However, we do not have to succumb to fear. God has plans to take care of us. He will never abandon us. He knows our future and we can trust that everything will work out. Learning to lean into that trust is the hard part. It goes against everything we tangibly know. When we do lean into Him constantly and consistently our fear will turn to trust, because our minds are being renewed to His ways over the world's way.

I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

Jeremiah 29:11 MSG

Considerations for your planner:

  • Are you trusting in God or yourself for the plans in your life? Write down your plan and then give it to God.

A Prayer for Our Community:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for being our rock. Thank You for always being there. Not only when we need You, but always. Help us to know and trust Your presence more consistently in our lives. Help us to turn from trusting the world and its ways and instead turn to trusting You and Your ways. Give us the strength and confidence to walk in Your power and plans over anything we might think we know. In Your name we pray. Amen.
