What Do We Prioritize?

What Do We Prioritize?

Posted by Lauren Frazier on

God’s word is an indispensable weapon against all we come up against. Prayer must be a top priority in our lives. Prayer is a 2 way conversation. We not only pray by talking to God, whether out loud or in our hearts and minds. We pray by reading His word. His word is living. It is there for us to hear His voice answering our prayers. Prayer is not a means to have our wishes and dreams requested and then magically appear. Rather prayer is the means to have our hearts and minds changed and shaped by our Father. It is through our prioritization of prayer and seeking His word in our lives that our minds will be transformed and renewed. This is when we will see the change we seek in our lives.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Ephesians 6:18 NIV

Considerations for your planner:

  • Are you meditating on God’s word today as you pray? Write down the scripture that you have found today.

A Prayer for Our Community:

Lord, Draw us in by Your words. Place a fire in our hearts and souls to seek what You have for us. We pray that through all our days we not only speak to You, but that we would seek to hear from You. Help us to arm ourselves with Your promises for our lives. In this way we make You our top priority in our lives and thus we trust that everything will fall into place as it is supposed to. In Your name we pray. Amen.
