Jesus is our example of patience to follow. It is because of His mercy, grace and patience with us that we are able to have life beyond our sins.
Until we are reunited with God in heaven, we will always have to battle our sinful nature. We will not reach perfection on earth. This is why we need God's patience so much.
His response to us, must be our response to others. Each of us is not owed anything, yet He shows us kindness in the face of our mistakes.
In our belief of Him we can walk in the same mercy and grace. Being the outward appearance of Him, as He uses us to do His work. Our ability to channel patience that is unlike the world will be the light others need to see to seek Him as well.
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

- How would you rate your patience? Write out the areas of your life you know you could grow your patience and invite God in to help you in the next opportunities you have to practice.
A Prayer for Our Community:
Heavenly Father, Shine through us as we seek to do Your work. Help us to have the patience You have with us for not just others, but also ourselves. We are so grateful for Your grace and mercy. We praise You for giving us all the opportunities in life to share You with others by the life we live. Amen.
