Patience Equips Us

Patience Equips Us

We serve the God of peace. There can be a peace in our life that permeates all things when we are following God. This peace only comes when we are close and stay close to Him.

It is through His work of bringing Christ back from the dead that we are saved. From this one action we can trust in Him for everything in our lives. If He can bring back Christ from the dead can He not do anything else we need?

He will equip us for whatever comes our way and is in His will. This is key. In our lives we must not push and force our own will. We must have patience and wait for His will. In this way we will be equipped.

Through our patience, He will work what is pleasing to Him. When we obey in this way we are showing, with our lives, that we know what Christ did for us. Our patience, to do as He has called us, glorifies Him more than any works we could try to equip ourselves for.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV

Considerations for your planner:

  • Write down what you believe God’s will is for you at this moment. Write down what your will is. See if the 2 align.
    • Write and say Hebrews 13:20-21 as a prayer daily for the next week.

    A Prayer for Our Community:

God, Be with us all the seconds of our lives. We need Your guidance in everything we do. Help us to stay present. We know in our presence we can sense Your presence and hear Your direction. Equip us for everything You have for us. We trust You. Amen.
