Patience Brings More Goodness

Patience Brings More Goodness

We are all uniquely made. We have all been given distinct gifts and talents to fulfill our purpose. Our purpose is to share God with the world.

This is why, in whatever it is that we do, we must do it with this purpose in mind. Each one of our talents is a passion God has put in us, to use and to fulfill our greatest calling.

He does not want us to trudge along and do things the way the rest of the world does them. Only to get by. He wants us to be prepared in every season to bring His word through to His people.

This can be done in a multitude of ways, because when we do what we love we can more easily have, “great patience and careful instruction.” When we are not using the gifts He gave us to shine brightly for the world to see there is a better way, we would be forcing our way not just in the world but in sharing His goodness.

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

2 Timothy 4:2 NIV

Considerations for your planner:

  • Are you doing what you love? Write down the natural talents God has given you. Ask Him to show you where and how He wants you to use them.

A Prayer for Our Community:

God, Thank You for the opportunity to follow You. Thank You for showing us a better way. Help us to trust in Your guidance and not the world’s. We want to do what You have called us to so that our patience can be long and our journey can be a testament to Your work. Amen.
