God’s grace is our salvation. Salvation should not be something we ask for once and experience. It is something we must seek each day and allow the world to fall away.
The world may have us think that inviting God into our lives is a one time thing. However, if that were the case then we would never deal with all the ways the world pulls on us with fear, doubt and worry. This is why we must seek His grace and receive salvation daily.
Living in this way teaches us to say no to the world. The ways of the world will always distract us from seeking God and the grace He has for us. The enemy wants us to be consumed with accommodating the way the world does things in our lives.
However, when we are living in grace and salvation we live with a self control that can only be explained by the Spirit. This is how we can be the light to the world for all to see God.
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
Titus 2:11-12 NIV
Considerations for your planner:
- Have you sought for God’s grace in your life today? Write down the ways you are receiving His grace.
A Prayer for Our Community:
Father in Heaven, Be with us in all the spaces of our journey. Help us to turn away from the world and toward Your ways. We want to seek Your grace and salvation all the days of our lives. The world is empty without You. Help us to be reminded of this as we move through today. Your grace will help us to be the light You want us to be. Amen.
