Let’s Live in Grace

Let’s Live in Grace

Sin is not our story. Grace is our story. Our master is whatever governs and guides our lives. So we must ask ourselves if we are guided by sin or grace? The world or God?

We can only answer this question when we know that we are saved and to whom we belong. The world would tell us that we have to find belonging and provision. The truth is that we are always in belonging and provision when we are with Him.

Laws are made by the world, for the world. It is not our duty to follow all the laws. It is our calling to follow God. Thus, how we live our lives is about Spirit and intent of grace for others rather than following the letter of the law.

This is why knowing and having grace is so important. Without grace we are nothing. We are victims to the world and its ways. Through grace we are saved and our story no longer lives in the confines of the world.

For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 6:14 NIV

Considerations for your planner:

  • Do you live by Spirit and intent or the letter of the law? Write out what this means to you.

A Prayer for Our Community:

Lord, Help us to follow You over following the world. We want to be Your hands and feet, but we know that means living counter to the ways of the world. Help us to have the strength to live in Your grace always, so that we have the courage to act as You would have. Use us God. Let our strength come from living in Your grace every moment of the day. In Your name we pray. Amen.
