Are we trusting in the Lord with all our heart? This is a great question to ask ourselves each day. It is a question that will help us come to Him in all things.
When we trust in the Lord with all our heart, we have nothing to fear or worry about. Noticing fear and worry are great indications that we need to answer this question. In our awareness of this question we are able to turn our focus to Him rather than to our fear and worry.
The world would have us consumed with the distractions of fear and worry. Fear that we will not know what to do. Worry that everything will not work out.
That is not the path God has for us. His way cultivates trust in Him no matter what our circumstances are. When we surrender our will and trust His our focus turns toward eternity rather than our worldly timing.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
Considerations for your planner:
- Where are you placing your trust today? Is it in what you have heard on the news? Is it in what someone told you? Write this down and see how you can shift your perspective to Him and trust only in Him.
A Prayer for Our Community:
Father God, Thank You for creating a path that we can fully trust in. Your ways are not the world’s ways. We place our trust and understanding of all our circumstances in You and not the way the world interprets it. Help us to lean on You in all things, so that we may be matured in the Spirit and carry out more of Your will. Amen.
