Do we give thanks for everything in our lives? Have we made it our automatic or default to thank God for every circumstance that comes? These are questions we must ask ourselves as we reflect on this verse.
What we seek we find. When we seek the good it will find us. God is in everything that is happening in our lives if we allow Him to be.
Think about that for a moment. If we allow Him to be? Our Father is a gentleman. He will not be anywhere we have not first invited Him into.
He is always there for us. He is ready to give His help and be our light. We must seek His goodness. We must look to Him in all things. We must give Him thanks and all that is good and perfect will find us time and again.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17 NIV

- Write out what you are seeking in the world. Ask yourself if God is a part of it? How can you invite Him in?
A Prayer for Our Community:
God, Help us to seek You in all things. We want to invite You into every aspect of our lives. Help us to bring You into the fold in the areas of our lives we feel shame and doubt about. We want all good and perfect things to be the default of our lives. Help us to grow our trust for You. To know You never change. Amen.
